Glitter Word Art…One Last Post for the Craftaholics Anonymous® Creative Team!

2013 was full of fun and exciting adventures! One of the adventures I am so sad is finally coming to a close is my time with the Craftaholics Anonymous Creative Team. I’ve had 12 months full of exciting posts to share with the CA readers and am so happy to have gained more friends to share my own projects with here at jRoxDesigns. I had the opportunity to get to know each of the other amazingly talented bloggers on the team over the year in a sort of crafting and business “support group” as we call it over at Craftaholics Anonymous! Even when life was crazy and I didn’t have a lot of time to craft I was always able to look forward to a big project to share each month. I feel like I have grown so much by being part of the team and I am forever grateful for opportunity!

So, even though it is time to say goodbye I still have one more post to share! Just in time for Valentine’s Day I whipped up some easy glitter word art. It was fun and you could definitely use the same technique for tons of different projects.

Christmas Stocking Tutorial and Pattern Featured On Craftaholics Anonymous® Today!

Can you believe Christmas is a week from today?? I know that’s crazy right? I’ve had all of my decorations up since the day after Thanksgiving but my fireplace has been very lonely and without stockings for the past two years. Yep, after Emma Grace was born I wanted to make cute stockings for our new family of four but…that didn’t happen. Then last year it was so crazy it didn’t happen either. So when I had the opportunity to come up with a fun sewing tutorial for Craftaholics Anonymous® this month, I jumped on the idea to finally make our stockings. Pumpkin Pie Cupcakes Featured On Craftaholics Anonymous® Today!

I LOVE Fall! Here in the South football season is in full swing and although it may still be in the 90’s most days, I can hardly wait for cooler evenings. Fall also means bringing back out the warm and hearty recipes that warm our bellies up on the cool nights. And did I mention PUMPKINS?? I LOOOVEE anything with pumpkin in it so after making these Pumpkin Pie cupcakes last year they became a big hit with the entire family. I mean how can you say no to a cupcake with a graham cracker crust bottom and a “frosting” that is actually a pumpkin pie? Umm, you can’t say no! I featured these yummy cupcakes with you last year here and I am sharing them again today on Craftaholics Anonymous®. DIY Mirror and Hair Bow Holder Featured On Craftaholics Anonymous® Today!

Ever since the day I found out I was having a little girl I was crazy excited about the idea of buying teeny tiny little shoes, colorful sundresses and tons of big flower bows! Well guess what…two years later (yes we just celebrated a big birthday!) I am finally admitting our bow stash is out of control. Yepp I have a problem! After Emma Grace was born I cut a strip of leftover ric rac that served as a temporary holder until I came up with something else. The only down side was it only held about a dozen bows which left another dozen or so lying around the house, my diaper bag and the car in piles! After watching my little diva check herself out in the mirror every morning after I put a bow in her hair I thought it would be perfect to make a little mirror of her very own and have it double as a spot to hold all of those bows! Oh and you want to know what it really looks like with all of our bows?

Yeah Emma Grace may have just a couple! You know what..I can tell you for sure we have at least four or five that are missing from this photo too! Is your bow stash out of control too?
