Phewwww it has been a long week so excuse the delay in our weekly photo posting.  We are back from our much-needed vacation at the beach and I have to say we are all missing the ocean but are glad to be settling back in to our “normal” routines again.  I know you are probably digging my “fabric” choice for the week right?  I’ll let you in on a little secret it was either some crazy beach towels or the awesome distressed wood from the front porch.  Guess who won?? 🙂  Get ready for a week in review – including a couple goodies I got for my birthday!  So hang tight for just a bit okay?  See you soon!

Beach Bound :: Inspiration Wednesday

I swear I’m still here and alive!  You know when you hit a wall half way through the week?  Yepp…I’m there right now.  I just finished another round of clear coat on 8 sets of cornhole boards.  Once I get these last ones out of the house that will be 20 for the month and I am burned out.  So lets just say with vacation coming up soon I just can’t wait.  When we spent the weekend at the beach a couple months back for this fabulous wedding I’ve been so anxious to get back for our yearly beach trip!  I have big plans for my week…

Sandy Toes

I plan on having sandy toes ALL WEEK!

Kisses On The Beach

Of course a couple late night walks on the beach and sneak in a couple kisses from my amazing hubby!

Wading In The Ocean

Lots of goofy times in the ocean with this crazy boy

Sophie

I’m sure Miss Sophie will have to play in the sand too!

Sleeping Baby

Most of all I think we all plan on taking quite a few naps!

More than anything…I’m just ready for a break!  How about you??

“I Do” Barefoot on the Beach

Several weeks ago Jeremy and I were able to attend the most beautiful wedding on the coast and of course I had to get some shots.  Since the last wedding I went to was for business it was so nice to sit back and relax in a chair and just shoot from there!  The ceremony took place on the beach in front of the resort and the weather was absolutely perfect.  Not to mention the Bride was GORGEOUS!  It reminded me of our wedding day when Jeremy and I said “I do” barefoot in the sand in front of our closest family and friends.  I can’t believe we are about to celebrate our 7th anniversary next week.  So here is to you Nikki and Chris – may you always remember the love that brought you two together as a couple and never forget what makes each of you unique.  Congratulations!!

P.S. The Bride and Groom asked me to make a couple of signs for the wedding and I think they all turned out great.  Their colors were navy and lime green – I love the contrast of the bright colors against the natural backdrop of the sand and the ocean.  What do you think?
